The East Greenwich Hill and HarbourTurkey Trot 2012 presented by the Main Street Association of East Greenwich is a fully sanctioned and certified 5K race held in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on November 24, 2012. The course highlights much of the beauty of East Greenwich, which includes Main Street, the waterfront and the hill district. In addition to the 5K race the festivities include a 1 Mile Fun Run, crafts, and music which will allow the entire community to get involved. Last year, inaugural year, was a huge success! We had over 700 runners on race day with an estimate of over 1000 people that came out for the race and the festivities. We expect that each year more and more people will make this part of their Thanksgiving tradition and the event will only continue to grow.
